Project Description

I was commissioned to write a four-part mural to discuss seltzer's impact on our culture, its importance to health, the beverage industry, comedy, and identity. A 24-foot-wide comic mural addressing the cultural history of seltzer. Produced with the Museum staff in collaboration with graduate students at Teachers College Columbia University, and created by artists from around the world, it is a fun self-guided tour (starring our very own mascots Spritz the Siphon and Lil Spritz) of the role seltzer has played promoting health, tasty treats, comedy, and personal identity.
